Poor performance and lameness evaluation

Kelley specialises in working with lame or poor performing horses to uncover problems affecting their performance and wellbeing, and develop a treatment programme to aid the horse in a full recovery or manage ongoing problems effectively.

A range of tests and assessments can be done, including, but not limited to nerve blocking, flexion tests, x-ray, trot ups or under saddle ridden assessments to identify any problems. Drawing on extensive knowledge in this area and utilising strong relationships with other qualified equine professionals, Kelley will start the horse on a specific treatment plan to either eliminate or manage the problem.

Evaluations can be done onsite at the centre in Clevedon, or at the client’s place, depending on their location and facilities available.
